Story of Kickball Love

Begat from Kickball Love and Engineering Nobility, Kickball Without Borders is the eldest child in the proud family known to the ages as The Boulder Kickball Classic. As with all such classics, its story is worthy of tale.
The Story of Kickball Love begins on the blacktops of a thriving, late-20th century, northeastern American village. Ten-strong squadrons of privileged young boys and girls would awake in the wee hours to compete on that most tared of kickball diamonds. Only after the challenge was met, and a victor crowned would these devoted athletes begin their school house instruction. This was a time filled with childish zeal, where the battles of youth became triumphs of the highest order, the legends of myth. For kickball then, born to so many in youth and innocence, it was here that love was first known.
But time ages all things, and so too Kickball Love. Twenty-five years had come and gone, and the passion of young love had gradually faded to the recesses. Still flickering, but as a fading flame, kickball was slowly becoming vanished. And so it may have gone, never to be remembered, and never again so cherished, if not for one fateful spring day on the sunny eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
In truth, it began as a day like any other. The April snows had melted and the sun was again Queen of the Sky.

We hope you enjoy some kickball. We have found that life is at least 5 times better after having re-discovered our collective past-time. No longer are Monday's a chore. You might be wondering what are the first steps towards kickball greatness? I don't blame you.
I would say the first thing to think about is where you will get your fantastic wig and your adorable socks. Please take into consideration the intimidation factor. Do you want to say "Im so damn good at kickball that it doesn't matter how ridiculous this cape is" or "this cape makes me look like a bad-ass so, yeah, that's just about right." It's up to you.
We may be able to make some recommendations. By the way, the cape is "in play" so you also need to take that into consideration when visualizing dodging balls. Most peeps go with the cape, not to put any pressure on you.
Sometimes a superhero persona is called for. Do you ever feel that way? I do. Do you remember the last time that you needed to kick some but, in spite of the stockings you were wearing? I'll let you think about that for a moment.
